GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS :
- Lime – titania all position electrodes.
- Exhibits smooth running.
- Soft & stable arc with ease of striking and with negligible spatter.
- Self-peeling slag.
- Smooth bead appearance with fine ripples.
- Weldable on AC and DC+ polarity.
- Austenitic weld deposit which contains appropriate quantity of “FERRITE” to prevent cracking.
- High degree of corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments such as nitric acid.
- High resistance to intergranular corrosion.

NOTE ON USAGE :
- Ensure that electrodes are dry enough. In case of moisture pick-up redry the electrodes at 250oC for 30 to 60 minutes. Thereafter, either allow the oven to cool slowly to about 60oc or transfer them to a holding oven maintained at 50oC-60oC.
- Clean the joint faces to remove moisture, grease or any foreign matter.
- Employ welding currents within the prescribed range.
- Keep the arc as short as possible.
- Restrict weaving of electrode to within two and a half times the core wire diameter.
- Use stainless steel wire brush for cleaning the weld beads.
